SECURITY RULES
•
Do not exceed your paddling ability and your skills; be aware of your limitations.
•
Check the proper working of your equipment before each use.
- Check inflation pressure.
- Inspect the valves caps.
- Check that there are no leaks. DO NOT use your ISUP if you suspect a puncture or leak. Read
the Repair Section in the Owner's Manual. In the case of one air chamber failing during navigation,
keep calm and paddle back to the shore with the remaining buoyancy of the air chamber.
•
For your safety, never sail alone. Always paddle with others and do not isolate yourself in order to
be easily rescued in case of problems. Tell someone of trust of your route and lenght of time out
paddling.
•
We recommend to wear a safety leash attached to you and your board.
•
Wearing a life jacket with regulatory standards is highly recommended and can be made mandatory
in some places. Consult the regulations for sites where you navigate.
•
Always paddle in safe conditions.
•
Check the access regulations, evolution and movement of the selected practice sites.
•
Check local weather forecast and navigation conditions. Do not navigate under dange-
rous conditions. Beware of offshore winds and currents. Remember that weather condi-
tions can rapidly deteriorate. Always be sure that you can reach a shelter rapidly.
Do not sail with the SUP in case of offshore wind (the wind blows away from the shore
and it is very tiring to paddle against the wind) and strong wind of 11 knots (20km/h).
Do not navigate when there are high waves.
•
You can not go beyond 150m (0,09mi) from the coast.
•
Adapt your clothing to the weather.
•
Avoid all contact between the ISUP and any sharp objects
•
Take into account other users of the aquatic environment (surfers, swimmers, boaters, fishermen ...).
•
Avoid sandbanks, coral reefs and rocks. Navigate near the shore or beach and the designated
boating area.
•
This board is not made to be pulled behind a boat.
•
Follow the terms of use listed on paddle.
•
Do not consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs before and during use of the SUP.
•
Do not carry children on the paddle.
•
DO NOT allow children to use this SUP.
•
Permissible number of person» means only one person on the board at a time, it's dangerous and
forbidden to use by more than the permissible number of person in a time.
•
Disregarding any of the safety precautions and instructions contained in the owner's manual on the
product may result in injury, including the possibility of death.
•
Review the weight capacity limitations of the board and never exceed it.
•
Never dive head first into the water from this board.
•
Never use this product after sunset, before dawn or at any time in poor light.
•
Never leave board exposed to direct sunlight when out of the water.
•
Tighten vent plug before taking board into the water. Loosen vent plug after use to release air
pressure.
•
Maximum working pressure» means the Maximum Allowed Working Pressure after inflation is 15psi
/ 1 bar to be sure of safe use.
•
Inflate only with pump included.
•
Please DO NOT perform any structural changes to the ISUP that could affect the safety.
•
USE CAUTION when entering or exiting the SUP. Keep your weight centered and distribute the
weight of the loads and passenger evenly.
