the heater to the fixing hook and check that the hook remains perfectly in place and
does not tend to pull away from the surface.
When installing the appliance, proceed as described below, with reference to the
diagram.
• The appliance must be well away from other heat sources, flammable materials
(curtains, upholstery, etc.), flammable gases or explosive materials (spray cans) and
materials which may warp in heat.
• The appliance must be installed at least 200 cm above the ground (measured from
the bottom edge of the appliance) and must be positioned so that it is not at risk of
knocks and there is an empty space of at least 120cm around its radiant part.
The chain must be:
- completely extended, and the appliance must be installed at least 50cm from the
ceiling.
- connected to one shackle and to the hook in the casing, while the other end of the
chain must be connected to the other shackle, hanging from the ceiling hook.
- There are no water, gas or power lines inside the wall
- The wall to which the appliance is to be fixed must be made of masonry and/or heat-
resistant, fire-retardant and solid material (not wood or synthetic material), flat and
free of irregularities; the ceiling must also be made of fire-retardant and heat-resistant
material.
- the appliance can be installed at least 220cm from the ground (height referred to
the lower edge of the appliance), is positioned so that it cannot suffer impacts and
that the radiating part has a free space of at least 100cm, and at least 50cm at the
sides.
