Read this Operator's Manual and safety rules before operating your generator.
Compare the illustrations with your generator, to familiarize yourself with the locations of various controls

A - Fuel Tank — Capacity of 3.7 L (1.0 U.S. gallons).
B - Choke Lever — Used when starting a cold engine.
C - Side Maintenance Cover — Remove to gain access
to the air cleaner and oil service.
D - QPT (QUIET POWER TECHNOLOGY ™) Switch— Use
this switch to turn the QPT switch on and off.
E - Output Indicator — A green LED light comes on
when the generator is working correctly and producing
power at the receptacles.
F - Recoil Starter — Used to start the engine.
G - Generator Reset — Push to reset generator if overloaded.
H - Engine Switch — Set this switch to ON (I) before
using recoil starter. Set switch to OFF (0) to stop
engine. Also turns fuel valve on and off.
J - 12 Volt DC Receptacle — Use this receptacle to
supply power for 12 Volt DC accessories that are rated
60 watts (5 Amp) or less. This receptacle is protected
by a push to reset circuit breaker.
K - Parallel Operation Port — Use this port with optional
parallel operation kit to allow two generators to run in
parallel.
L - DC Circuit Breaker — The 12 Volt DC receptacle
is provided with a "push to reset" circuit breaker to
protect the generator against electrical overload.
M - Circuit Breaker — The 120 Volt AC receptacle
is provided with "push to reset" circuit breakers to
protect the generator against electrical overload.
N - 120 Volt AC, 20 Amp, Duplex Receptacle — May
be used to supply electrical power for the operation of
120 Volt AC, 20 Amp, single phase, 60 Hz electrical,
lighting, appliance, tool, and motor loads.
P - Overload Alarm — A red LED light comes on and
cuts power to the receptacles when the generator is
overloaded.
R - Low Oil Indicator — A yellow LED light comes on
when the oil in the generator drops below a preset
level.
S - Grounding Fastener — Consult your local agency
having jurisdiction for grounding requirements in your
area.
T - Spark Arrester Muffler — Exhaust muffler lowers
engine noise and is equipped with a spark arrester
screen.
U - Top Maintenance Cover — Remove to gain access
to the spark plug.
V - Identification Label — Provides model, revision, and
serial number of generator. Please have these readily
available when calling for assistance.

Air Cleaner (under side maintenance cover) —
Protects engine by filtering dust and debris out of intake
air.
Oil Fill Cap (under side maintenance cover) — Check
and add engine oil here.
