Using the Stand

1. When using the Insulated Jacket with a floor stand, start by zipping up the bottom of the
Insulated Jacket and place it on a level and sturdy surface. We suggest you place an old towel,
cloth or a rag inside the Insulated Jacket to protect the bottom of the Insulated Jacket from the
steel ring on the stand and/or leaky bottles.
2. Place the FastFerment™ and the Stand (sold separately) in the centre
of the Insulated Jacket.
a. Push the airlock through one of the 2 top flaps that is closest to
the rubber grommet in the lid.
b. Note: Getting the airlock base wet with a sanitizer and pushing in
with a twisting motion helps make this easier.
3. Make sure the 2 Velcro patches are attached to the back of the
Insulated Jacket to cover the slits that are destined to be used with the
Wall Mounts.
4. Carefully add ice bottles to the bottom of the Insulated Jacket.
5. Zip up the rest of your zipper from back to front, leaving the zippers in front so they are easy
to access.
Note: If you are using these instructions to heat the FastFerment™, swap 'ice' for a
'heating pad'.
