7. The 'Left forwards' and 'Right backwards' or 'Right forwards' and 'Left backwards' buttons can also be
pressed simultaneously to rotate the caravan around its own axis without moving it backwards or for-
wards (this function is only possible with 'single axle' mode).
8. During the forwards or backwards movement of the caravan (hold down button B or F), you can also
correct the movements by also pressing button D or K (forwards) or button E or J (backwards).
9. The soft-start technology allows the manoeuvring tool to be initiated slowly. This allows you to carry
out manoeuvres precisely and without jolts. The soft-stop technology stops the manoeuvring tool with
decreasing speed.
CAUTION!
Thanks to soft-stop technology, the caravan will continue to move for 0.5 seconds (± 6 cm) after
the buttons are released (with decreasing speed).
If the manoeuvring tool is still in the soft-start phase (slow starting of the caravan), the caravan
stops immediately once the buttons on the remote control are released.
After the soft-start phase, the manoeuvring tool operates at a consistent speed. This speed increases during
downhill operation and reduces with uphill operation.
It is better to manoeuvre the caravan backwards on uphill inclines.
ADVICE
1. After manoeuvring, deactivate the manoeuvring tool by pushing the slider switch on the remote control
(Fig. 9A) to the "0" state. The green LED (Fig. 9C) on the remote control goes out. Store the remote
control in a safe place (out of the reach of children or unauthorised persons).
2. Switch the main switch of the manoeuvring tool off.
WARNING!
When you end the manoeuvre, apply the handbrake!
3. First apply the handbrake and then use the crank to move the drive rollers away from the tyres. Turn
the crank until it rotates without any great use of force. The viewing window on the deployment display
(Fig. 5A) shows a green area with an arrow pointing away from the wheel.
WARNING!
Before initiating travel, ensure that both rollers have actually been retracted from the tyres!
Operation - coupling up and uncoupling
Use the control buttons on the remote control to manoeuvre the caravan to the car. The soft-start and soft-
stop technology allows a centimetre-by-centimetre approach to the tow bar.
We recommend several short journeys (instead of one long one) to reach the tow bar.
