5.2.2 USB interface

USB port type B (Pic. 4 (5)). Prevalent operating systems recognize the instru-
ment as a serial interface. The driver for the interface component is available on
the MACHEREY-NAGEL website (www.mn-net.com).

5.2.3 Transmission protocol

Data is sent via the interfaces in cleartext. The received data relates to format
of the print out.

5.2.4 Barcode scanner / keyboard

You can connect a keyboard and / or barcode scanner using the instruments
PS/2 port (Pic. 4 (6)).

5.3 Inserting printer paper

To open the printer paper cover, press the little button above the touch screen.
Move the printer paper cover backwards.
