The automatic start program is activated and begins as
soon as the selected time is reached.
To change the „On" time, see section 8. „Setting the
timer" on page 9.
Caution: there is a danger of scalding caused by the
automatic start of the filtering process. Three short sig-
nal tones warn of the starting.

4.2 Switching off the timer

• Should you wish to use the switched off machine for an
unexpected preparation of coffee before the selected
timer start, press button (5)
seconds.
• Switch on the machine with button (1)
Clean machine after use and prepare it for brewing
with the timer (see 4.1 „Preparing the machine", page
5).

5. Dispensing

5.1 Dispensing coffee/tea

• The beverage can be dispensed from the storage urn
(15) using the fast-action tap (17).

5.2 Dispensing hot water

• Hot water can be dispensed using the fast-action tap
(22) - also during the course of a filtering program.

• If too much hot water is discharged, the display shows:
Do not dispense any more hot water now. Wait until
this message disappears.

6.1 Interrupting the program

• A program which is running can be interrupted by pres-
sing button (6)

6.2 Stopping the program

• To stop a brewing program, switch the machine off with
button (1)
6.3 Switching the machine off
• The machine should be switched off overnight and
during longer breaks.
• Switch off the machine with button (1)
• Switch off the storage urn (16)
• Close on-site water tap.
• Switch off mains electricity supply.

7. Cleaning

For detailed description see page 9.

7.1 External cleaning

.
• Wipe all plastic parts, painted surfaces and stainless
steel surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use any abra-
sive substances or sharp objects.
Spray stainless steel surfaces lightly with Swirl-EST
cleaning agent, leave for 2 minutes and wipe off with a
dry cloth. (Please observe the warnings concerning
cleaning agents on page 9).

7.2 Cleaning the storage urn

• Pour 20 - 50 g/litre of water of Swirl cleaning agent
3000, Order No. 1011012, into the storage urn.
(Please observe the warnings concerning cleaning
agents on page 9).
• Place filter on the storage urn.
• Press button (6)
and fill the storage urn with hot water.
• Clean the urn with a brush.
• Discharge the liquid via the fast-action tap (17).
• Rinse the urn with hot water (start filtering program
again).
7.2.1 Sight glass
• Pull out the cap from the sight glass cover and clean
the sight glass (14) with the sight glass brush provided
(Order No. 200981).

7.2.2 Fast-action tap

• Screw off the upper part of the fast-action tap (17) and
clean the flow channel with the sight glass brush.
