Figure 2-112 shows the array of status indicator LEDs on the EtherNet/IP card.
For convenience, an EtherNet/IP PLC label is provided in the kit. The label can be applied to an
IND570 near the EtherNet/IP connector to help differentiate the RJ45 connector of the EtherNet/IP
PLC option from the RJ45 connector of the Ethernet TCP/IP network option shown in Figure 2-95
and Figure 2-96.
2.4.6.8. PROFIBUS PLC Option (Panel-Mount Enclosure)
The PROFIBUS PLC option board (Figure 2-115) is installed in position 3 (Figure 2-94) on the
main board.
Either a straight or a right-angled nine-pin connector can be used to make the connection to the
PROFIBUS option board installed in a panel-mount version of the IND570. The right-angle nine-pin
mating connector is Siemens part # 6ES7 972-0BA12-0XA0. The straight mating connector is
METTLER TOLEDO part # 64054361. Neither of these connectors is supplied by METTLER TOLEDO
as part of the option.
Pin assignments for the PROFIBUS PLC interface for both the harsh and the panel-mount enclosure
are shown in Figure 2-114. Follow the wiring instructions included with the connector to terminate
the wires.
