Operation
The infrared electronics emit invisible, pulsed light. The sensor
system is adjusted so that water flow is initiated when the
hands approach the vicinity of the spout. When the hands are
withdrawn from the vicinity of the spout, water flow is stopped
after 1 s.
The range of the sensor system is dependent upon the
reflective properties of the detected object.
Automatic safety shut-off
After 60 s of continuous detection of an object, the infrared
electronics automatically stop the water flow.
Activating cleaning mode
• Only possible when temporary shutoff is activated
1. Hold finger against the lower area of the sensor system,
see Fig. [11].
Indicator lamp in the sensor system signals:
█████████████████████ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██
2.
Remove finger from the sensor system while
is displayed.
Cleaning mode is active for 3 minutes. The indicator lamp
flashes during this time.
Terminating cleaning mode prematurely
1. Hold finger against the lower area of the sensor system,
see Fig. [11].
Indicator lamp in the sensor system signals:
█████████████████████____
2.
Remove finger from the sensor system while
displayed.
Cleaning mode is terminated.
Performing continuous operation for thermal disinfection
1.
Turn mixer lever to the hot water end stop.
2. Hold finger against the lower area of the sensor system,
see Fig. [11].
Indicator lamp in the sensor system signals:
█████████████████████ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ██ ▌▌▌▌▌
3.
Remove finger from the sensor system while
is displayed.
Take hands out of the detection zone of the
sensor system.
The fitting starts the continuous operation for thermal
disinfection.
If an object is detected during thermal disinfection, the water
stops flowing immediately and the fitting is closed (indicator
lamp in the sensor system starts to flash).
Closure of the fitting ends automatically after 3 minutes or
can be prematurely terminated (see Terminating cleaning
mode prematurely).
Making settings
Setting mode
Setting mode has the following functions:
- Querying and changing the programme
- Checking the detection zone
The indicator lamp in the sensor system illuminates in setting
mode when the detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
approaching user.
Activating setting mode
Disconnect the plug-in connectors between fitting and storage
electronic and reconnect after 10 s, see Fig. [14].
• Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 minutes.

4. Hold finger against the lower area of the sensor system.
The programmes are displayed by groups of flashing
signals via the indicator lamp. Display starts with the
programme that is currently set.
