Mounting and removing the stationary stand
(fig. A & F)
With a stationary stand (option), the machine can be
used in a stationary position both upside down and
horizontally.
• If required, mount the sanding frame (14)
as described above.
• Place the belt sander on the stationary stand (18).
Guide the cord away at the side of the clamping
lever (12).
• Place the fixing bolt (19) and tighten the round
nut (20) (see inset in figure F).
• To remove the stationary stand, proceed in
reverse order.
Dust extraction (fig. A)
Since woodworking with a sander
produces dust, always install a dustbag
designed in compliance with the
applicable directives regarding dust
emission.
Do not use a dustbag or vacuum
extractor without proper spark protection
when sanding metal.
Do not sand magnesium!
• Place the dustbag (7) or dust adapter (21)
(option) over the flange (22).
• For efficient dust extraction empty the dustbag
when it is about one third full.
• Remove the dustbag from the flange, open the
zipper and gently shake out the dustbag.
Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
• Make sure all materials to be sanded are
well secured.
• Apply only a gentle pressure to the
workpiece.

finished and before unplugging.
Consult your dealer for further information on the
appropriate accessories.
