2. Braking system
Quick braking:
To brake, take hold
of the handle and
pull the brake lever
upwards.

Parking brake:
To hold the rollator
stationary, e.g.
before you sit
down, push the
brake levers
downwards
carefully until they
lock and you feel
them click into
place. cf. photo
No. 16.
To start moving
again, release the brakes by pulling the brake levers upwards.
Adjusting the brakes:
The tension of the brake cable is preset in the factory, but you might
need to adjust it after you have been using the rollator for a certain
length of time.
If the brake is too tight:
•
Loosen the locknut (1) and turn the adjustment screw (2)
clockwise.
If the braking is not sufficient:
•
Loosen the locknut (1) and turn the adjustment screw (2)
anticlockwise.
Remember to tighten the locknut again once optimum adjustment
has been achieved.

3. Stick holder and kerb climber:
This rollator is equipped with a
stick holder (A) and with a kerb
climber (B) making it possible to
overcome obstacles more easily.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Check the rollator is in a good condition regularly, e.g. check the
•
brakes are adjusted properly, check for play in the parts and
make sure it is stable, and check for any damage or improperly
secured parts.
Beware of the risks of being pinched when handling the rollator.
•
Seat: before using the seat, check that the rollator is on a stable
•
and flat surface.
For your safety, it is essential for the brakes to be in the "parking
•
brake" position before you sit down.
•
Always sit down vertically on the seat; do not lean sideways and
do not sit at an angle (askew).
The seat of the rollator is designed only for short rests and
•
should not be used as a chair.
Always unfold the rollator fully before using it.
•
When exposed to sun, to heat or to cold, the rollator can heat
•
up or cool to the ambient temperature. Check the temperatures
of the surfaces, in particular before sitting on the seat.
Do not hang bags or any other article that might unbalance the
•
rollator on the handles.
STORAGE AND CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
The ND rollator should be stored under cover in a dry and
•
ventilated place.
The ND rollator can be cleaned by hand with a mild soap or with
•
a household detergent.
If in doubt, do not use the rollator and contact your specialist
dealer.
You can procure original spare parts from your specialist dealer.
WARRANTY
This product comes with a materials and manufacturing warranty of
2 years as from the date of delivery or issue to the user.
In the event of any defect covered by this warranty, the product will
be either repaired or replaced, at our discretion.
The warranty does not apply in the event of use or maintenance not
complying with the instructions, and nor does it apply for wearing
parts.

LIFE
This product has an estimated life of at least 5 years (not including
wearing parts: wheels, handles, brakes, seat fabric, soft basket)
depending on the use that is made of it, in compliance with the
instructions for use, maintenance, and safety that are specified in this
A
instruction booklet.
RECYCLING
The metal parts are recyclable.
The product should be disposed of in compliance with the applicable
national and local regulations.
For information on the waste treatment companies in your region,
please ask the competent authorities (local collection centre, local
council, etc.).
