Technical Data and Further Information
The most important technical data such as supply voltage are given on the name plate either
outside or inside the transmitter housing. For further technical data such as accuracy refer to
the Operation Manual. This document, the Operation Manual and software can be downloaded
from www.mt.com/m800-downloads.

Mounting
The M800 transmitter is available as ½ DIN version.
For installation drawings refer to the Operation Manual.

DANGER! Mortal danger by electric shock or risk of electrical shock: The maximum screw-
in depth of the mounting holes in the housing is 12 mm (0.47 inch). Do not exceed maximum
screw-in depth.
1. Mount the supplied cable glands at the housing.
2. Mount the transmitter. You have the following possibilities:
• Panel mounting, wall mounting or pipe mounting

Note: Do not supply power to the Aout terminals.
1. Switch off supply voltage.
2. Connect mains supply as follows:
• 20 to 30 V DC: N (–) for Neutral and L (+) for Line
• 100 to 240 V AC: N for Neutral and L for Line
3. Connect sensor, analog output signals, digital input signals and relay output signals ac-
cording to the Operation Manual.
