9.3 Level of the PA amplifier
Tune the transponder with the highest output range in the signal level
meter. Adjust the transponder rate to the PA amplifier regulator (34),
keeping in mind that the TEST output (33) is at -30dB, and that the output
level regulator (34) is adjusted ex works to the standard position of -10
dB.
WARNING, bear in mind the reduction of the maximum output level
depending on the number of transponders amplified (the TV input
channels are not amplified). The maximum work level is calculated by
subtracting the reduction indicated from the maximum output level
indicated in the sheet of characteristics (41).

A. The AFC (15 or 16) frequency automatic control indicator does not
turn on
C. If the AFC frequency automatic control indicator is activated but does
not turn on, it is due to a poor quality of the satellite signal received.
