8-6 Auto Power Off Function
After 0 minutes of non-activity in key operation, power is switched OFF automatically for saving energy and
preventing an accidental operation. When the Motor Handpiece is rotating, however, the power is not switched
off even if keys are not operated.

Maintenance

After each patient maintain the product as follows.
9-1 Cleaning (Contra Angle Head)
) Remove debris from the product. Do not use a wire brush.
2) Wipe clean with alcohol-immersed cotton swab or cloth.

Refer to the Thermo-Disinfector manual.
• After washing with Thermo-Disinfector and prior to lubrication, dry the product until all
internal moisture is thoroughly removed. Thermo-Disinfector moisture remaining inside the

9-2 Cleaning (Motor Handpiece, Control Unit)
) Turn OFF the power.
2) Detach the AC Adaptor.
3) Wipe clean the surface, first with a damp cloth, then an alcohol-soaked cloth.

CAUTION
9-3 Lubrication (Contra Angle Head)
NSK PANA SPRAY Plus
Apply NSK PANA SPRAY Plus every time after each use
and/or before autoclaving.
) Remove the file from the Contra Angle Head.
2) Screw the F-Type Spray Nozzle into the nozzle
portion of PANA SPRAY Plus by turning it 0 times
or so.
3) Insert the spray nozzle into the rear of the Contra
Angle Head. Hold the Contra Angle Head and spray
for 2 to 3 seconds till oil comes out of the tip of the
Contra Angle Head. Repeat lubrication until the oil coming out of the tip is clear of debris, etc. (Fig. 7)
• Only the Contra Angle Head may be lubricated.
• When applying spray be sure to firmly hold the Contra Angle Head to prevent the Contra

Angle Head from slipping out of the hand due to the spray pressure.
• Hold the spray can upright.
