CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION!
•
Turn temperature controls to the OFF (O) position.
•
Allow unit to cool completely before cleaning.
1. Wipe exterior surfaces, including heating elements, using a clean cloth or sponge dampened
with a mild detergent solution.
NOTE: DO NOT disassemble hotplate or elements for cleaning.
2. Use only cook-top cleaning creme on glass-ceramic surface. A razor blade may be used to
remove cooked-on food.
WARNING!

DO NOT submerge counter top appliances in water.
•
DO NOT splash or pour water onto control panels or wiring. This appliance is not jet stream
approved. Do not clean with water jet.
•
Possible shock hazard and/or equipment damage if interior of unit becomes wet.
WARNING!
•
DO NOT attempt to repair a broken glass-ceramic surface. Contact your authorized Wells
Service Agent for repairs.
IMPORTANT!
•
Do not use steel wool for cleaning.
