Intended Use of the Device

The photoelectric safety switch may only be used in the device col-
umn with heater as specified in subsection 2.1: Areas of Applica-
tion. Any other use or modification – including during mounting and
installation – will invalidate any guarantee and any claim against
SICK AG.
