1. GENERAL
1.1 Applications
For accelerated circulation of :
- Hot domestic water : (TH < 35°F)
- Heating water: according to VDI 2035
• Water in a closed circuit.
1.2 Specifications
• Max. operating pressure:
• Hot domestic water temperature range: 0 ° to + 60 °C
• Heating temperature range:
• Ambient temperature:
• Water/glycol mixture:
• Anticorrosion products:
(a) : In this case, adjust hydraulic performance.
• Min. head (in mCW) at circulator suction depending on operating
temperature.
40°C

Nota : At relatively high altitudes, add 0.60 m for each additional
500 m. 10.2 mCW = 1 bar.
2. SAFETY
Read this instruction carefully before installing and starting up. Pay
special attention to the points concerning the safety of the
equipment as regards the intermediate or final user.
2.1 Symbols used in this manual
Potential risk that might endanger the safety of the
persons.
Safety instructions relating to electric risks.
If you do not consider this instruction, it may
CAUTION!
involve a damage for the material and its
functioning.
3. TRANSPORT, HANDLING AND STORAGE
When receiving the material, check that there has been no
damage during the transport. If any defect has been stated, take all
necessary steps with the carrier within the allowed time.
If the delivered material is to be installed later on,
CAUTION!
store it in a dry place and protect it from impacts
and any outside influences (humidity, frost etc...)
4. PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES
4.1 The pump
Single pump model
Pump body with threaded ports
4.2 The motor
Motor with embedded rotor and integrated thermal overload.
Self-lubricated bearings
• SINGLE-PHASE : 230 V (±10%) choice of speed by plug-in selector
5. INSTALLATION
5.1 Installation (See FIG. 1)
- Make sure that the circulator is accessible.
- Direct connection to vertical or horizontal piping.
- Motor shaft must be horizontal.
- Respect flow direction indicated by an arrow on the flanges (or on
casing).
- Install valves on either side of the inlets/outlets to facilitate
removing the circulator or any other intervention.
10 bares
- 10 ° to + 110 °C

up to 50 %
(a)
follow the manufacturer's
instructions.
80°C
110°C

20 mCA
Do not insulate the motor casing. If the body is insulated,
make sure that the condensation drainage holes are free.
5.2 Terminal box orientation
If necessary, the orientation of the motor, and thus that of the
terminal box can be changed.
- Remove the motor attachment screws and turn the motor to the
desired position.
Take care not to damage the casing gasket,
ATTENCIÓN!
and reinstall it correctly.
The terminal box must not be installed in the 6 o
clock position for chilled water.
5.3 Electrical connections (See FIG. 2)
The electrical connections must be made by a qualified
electrician in compliance with local regulations.
All electrical information relating to the circulator are given on the
rating plate.
- Install a main switch.
- Respect the required operating voltage and install 10 A protection
for the motor.
- Connection of the connection box via stuffing box, entry on left or
right.
Use a 3-wire cable (2 phases + ground) to connect the power supply to
the terminals.
Terminals 10 and 15 (dry contact with 250 V – 1 A opening) for
remote indication of fault information.
The power supply cable must not be in contact
CAUTION!
with the piping or the pump: make sure that it is
not exposed to any humidity.
5.4 Choice of speed
2 speeds are possible by plug-in selector in the terminal box. (See FIG. 2).
- Switch off the pump
- Remove the cover of the terminal box.
- put the reference mark of the selector opposite selected speed.
- Close again the lid of the terminal box.
The new speed is visualised inside the box and outside through a
window after screwing the box cover (See FIG 2).
Any voltage error would result in damage to the

motors.
6. STARTING
6.1 Filling – degassing
CAUTION!
Never operate the circulator without water.
- Open the valves on each side of the circulator and completely fill
the installation.
- Purge the circuit at the highest point.
- The circulator purges automatically.
6.2 Adjustments
- Apply power to the motor to start circulator operation.
Burns hazard. During operation, the motor temperature can
exceed 100°C.
7. MAINTENANCE
The circulator requires no particular maintenance during operation.
The motor bearings are self-lubricated.
• In the event of the installation being partially or completely emptied
for a prolonged shutdown, completely empty the circulator to avoid
any seizing up.
In the event the motor is disassembled
eassembled, make sure that the casing O-ring is
CAUTION!
not damaged and, if necessary, replace it with a
new one.
