Closing
When the valve is opened by a program, pressing ON/OFF closes the valve. OPEN will disappear. The display will
continue showing the remaining time. The valve can be reopened by pressing ON/OFF and using the remaining
watering time as the default open time. Since the clock runs when the valve is manually closed, it will return to
Normal Mode when the open time is elapsed.
AM/PM or 24-Hour Clock
Press and hold HR and DAY to toggle between the 12-hour and
the 24-hour display. In 24-hour mode, the AM/PM indication will
not appear. The diagram shows the 24-hour time format display.
Program Review
To review the programs entered into the timer, press PGM repeatedly to toggle to the desired section of the program.
Follow the programming steps described earlier to modify. When completed, press PGM repeatedly until the normal
time of day mode is displayed or wait 15 seconds so that the timer automatically returns to the Normal Mode.
Program Reset
To reset all the settings, press and hold HR and MIN until the display clears.
Program Override
Press and hold MIN and DAY. PGM ON will change into PGM OFF and the program number will disappear to
indicate that the program is disabled (but not cleared). Press MIN and DAY to return to PGM ON. The programs will
now be enabled.
NOTE: Prior to freezing temperatures, remove the timer body from the faucet, drain the water and store it inside.

Question: How long will the batteries last?
Answer: 3 to 6 months depending on how frequently the valve is opened or closed.
Question: There is a loud noise when the timer's valve closes.
Answer: Apply a short section of hose between the faucet and the timer. This will take away some of the noise..
Question: None of the keys work on the keyboard.
Answer: The batteries are not making contact. Take the batteries out and lightly scratch the silver contact points.
