Parametering your SGA/AXOVIA
J Memorisation of leaf displacement :
The Somfy electronics automatically memorizes :
• The force of the cylinders necessary for gate control in normal operation. This
memorization then makes it possible to detect any abnormal force on the motorization.
• The angles necessary for complete opening and closing of the gate leaves with
locating the stops. This memorization then makes it possible to slow down before
reaching on the stops.
In order to start up the memorization process with the LEAF CLOSED, stand at a normal
distance from the gate and respect the following steps :
• Make a long press on remote control

key.
> After a few seconds, the gate
opens at low speed.
* If the gate does not open correctly,
check the wiring of motors
• Once the gate is opened, push again a

new long press same remote control
key
> The gate closes, one leaf after the
other.
• Press once more on same remote

control key.
> The gate opens, still at slow speed.
• Press a last time.

> Both leaves close almost
simultaneously.
At the end of these 4 steps, the PROG light turns off, indicating the end of the gate
displacement memorization procedure.
This cycle must be complete (2 complete, uninterrupted openings/closings). If it is
interrupted, the process is simply postponed and will be taken up again at the next
controlled opening.

J Using precautions in automatic mode.
Your Somfy SGA/AXOVIA enables installing your gate in automatic mode in
compliance with the standard NF EN 12 453 with the MANDATORY use of :
• a set of photo-electric cells,
• orange light,
• an area lighting light (500 W max.).
