Time setting (Figure XI)

Set the time by means of the
adjustment knob (9).
–
The white line on the seconds disk
(1) shows by its motion whether the
clock is running.
Check that the actual time corresponds to
the time shown on the time scale of the
tachograph chart at the red mark (10).
When setting the clock, pay attention to
the difference between 4.00 and 16.00 h
etc. If required, advance the clock by 12
hours.

General remarks
4.5.1 Function check LED (Figure XI, 2)
This LED lights up as soon as the instru-
ment is not working correctly, i.e.:
–
no chart(s) in position or
–
the time group control knob 2 is not
switched to break time "
1 + 2 driver model without co-driver
or
–
instrument cover not properly closed
or
–
defective recording stylus.
It will flash if there is a failure of the work-
ing time stylus.

4.5.2 How to set the warning value for
vehicle and engine speed
(Figure XI)
–
The vehicle speed warning value is
set by turning the adjustment screw
(4) right or left. The window (5)
shows the new warning value. Mini-
mum value: 40 % of full scale value.
–
When the vehicle speed warning
value is exceeded the vehicle speed
warning lamp (3) lights up.
–
The engine speed warning value is
set by turning the adjustment screw
(8) right or left. The window (7)
shows the new warning value. Mini-
mum value: 25 % of full scale value.
–
When the engine speed warning
value set is exceeded this can only
be signalled outside the tachograph
(optical or audible signal).
4.5.3 How to replace bulbs

Please use original bulbs with inte-
grated socket and bayonet fixing
(24 V = grey base,12 V = black
base).
–
Turn the defective bulb (6) 90 ° left
(anti-clockwise) and remove it.
–
Insert new bulb and lock it by turn-
ing it 90 ° right (clockwise).
