2.4 Teaching in user fingers (standard mode)

The device is operational, only the blue LED
lights up. The master fingers must not be taught
in as user fingers!
Master
Drag a master finger across the sensor, the red
finger
and green LEDs light up briefly.
Drag one or several user fingers across the sen-
sor; if the teach-in operation was successful, the
green LED lights up.
Timeout: 10 s. Do not allow more than 10 s to
elapse between the individual user finger teach-
in operations, as otherwise it will be necessary
to repeat the teach-in operation.
We recommend you teach in each user finger 3
times in order to optimise the detection rate.
With "problematic" fingers, it may be necessary
to teach in the same user fingers up to 6 times
or use a different finger.
If the scanning operation is of insufficient quality,
the red LED lights up. In this case repeat the
user finger teach-in operation.
