Controls and indicators: Controls and display instruments are clearly arranged at
the driver's seat.
The well structured Multipilot (8) allows one-handed operation of the following
functions: travel direction, driving, lifting / lowering, fork carrier shift forward / back,
fork tilt forward / back, side shift left / right in side shift operation (additional hydraulics
HF5 (o)) and horn.
The battery discharge indicator and the operating hours counter are combined on the
operator's display (7). The discharge indicator acts as a discharge monitor that turns
off the lift function if the battery is discharged to prevent total discharge.
Hydraulic system: Pump unit with three-phase motor and low-noise precision high-
pressure pump. The unit is controlled using the Multipilot (8).
Electrical system: 48 V system as two-conductor system. Standard electronic drive,
lift and steering control.
The electronic drive control seamlessly adjusts the travel speed and permits plugging
braking if the direction of travel changes.
The travel and lift parameters can be adjusted as needed on the operator display (7).
Warnings, operating error notes, and service functions are also shown on the
operator display. (See Chapter 2 for battery types).

Load pick-up
Mast: The fork arms are attached to the fork carrier and can be adjusted. For the two-
mast triplex mast (DZ) the initial lift of the load carriage (free lift) is performed by two,
short free lift cylinders at the sides without changing the overall height.
