Open the lid of the breastpump.
¥ Press the oval button on the
top of the Symphony
and lift
®
the handle.

Center breastshields over your
nipples and start pumping.
(Caution: pushing shields too
fi rmly onto breasts may affect
milk fl ow.)

Position the membrane cap
fi rmly on the breastpump
membrane to form a seal.
Center the tubing connector
in the recess in the pump
housing.
¥ Make sure that the
membrane cap engages
and lies fl ush to the surface.
Note
If single pumping, only seat one
membrane cap.

To turn the pump on, press
the power button. You will
be starting in the Stimulation
Phase. After 2 minutes, the
pump will automatically change
to the Expression Phase.

If let-down occurs before the
Expression Phase begins,

Note
• For step 12:
Always close the lid when pumping.
The lid keeps the membrane cap
pushed down to prevent a loss
of vacuum that could occur if the
membrane cap came off.

over, store your breastmilk and
clean your kit. Refer to sections
3-6 for cleaning instructions.
