Operation
One the appliance has been fi lled with soap and
the On/Off switch 5 has been set to "ON" ...
1) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/
the soap outlet 7.
The indicator lamp 8 illuminates and the
pump starts to operate.
2) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/
the soap outlet 7 until you have enough soap
in the palm of your hand. Now remove your
hand from beneath the appliance. The appli-
ance will stop the soap fl ow automatically.
The indicator lamp goes out 8.
NOTE
► If you do not remove your hand, the appliance
will automatically stop the soap fl ow after a
few seconds. However, the indicator lamp 8
will remain illuminated for as long as your
hand is beneath the infrared sensor 6.
3) If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
longer period, move the On/Off switch 5 to
the "OFF" position and remove the batteries.

Cleaning and care

Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. If required,
use a mild detergent on the cloth.
If the infrared sensor 6 becomes soiled, clean it
carefully with a dry cotton bud.
Storage
♦ Always wipe the appliance down thoroughly
before storing.
♦ If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
longer period, remove any remaining soap from
the soap tank 3.
It should also be rinsed out thoroughly with
clear water. Then allow the appliance to stand
for a while with the lid 1 open so that the soap
tank 3 can dry out.
♦ Remove the batteries.
♦ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location.
