INTENDED USE
The actuator is designed and made exclusively to provide
opening and closing, by means of a control device, of top-
hinged, bottom-hinged, and vertical mounting windows.
Any other use is strictly prohibited in order to ensure the
safety of the installer and user at all times, and the correct
performance of the actuator.
C h e c k c a r e f u l l y a l l e n v i r o n m e n t a l c o n d i t i o n s
(temperature, humidity, wind, snow, potential chemical
agents, etc.) and installation settings (misaligned fitting of
brackets and attachment to the frame, frictions produced
by hinges or gaskets, use of self-balancing window stays,
etc.) it is recommended that they not exceed the actuator
performances shown in the technical table. If they do,
please find an alternative and more suitable product for
your application.

SAFETY
4.1
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
&The operators must be informed about the risks of
accidents, the safety devices for the operators and the
general accident-prevention rules foreseen by the
international directives and laws in force in the country of
use of the actuator. The operators' behavior must always
scrupulously comply with the accident prevention rules in
force in the country in which the actuator is used.
&During handling and installation of the parts, the
personnel shall be equipped with suitable personal
protection equipment (PPE) so as to perform the works
required under safe conditions.

Any unauthorized tampering or replacement of
actuator parts and any use of accessories or consumable

PACKAGE
Every standard package of the product (cardboard carton)
contains (Fig.7):
-1 Actuator complete with electric power cord (Ref.A);
-2 Clamps for top-hinged or vertical mounting installation
with relative hardware (Ref.B);
-2 Clamps for bottom-hinged assembly with the relative
hardware (Ref.C);
-2 Brackets for windows with bottom-hinged opening
(Ref.D) with relative shims (Ref.D1) and covering plackets
(Ref.D2);
-2 Brackets for fastening to the window for top hinged
assembly(Ref.E1/E2) with relative covering plackets
(Ref.E3);
-2 Brackets for fastening to the window for bottom hinged
assembly (Ref.E5)with relative covering plackets (Ref.E3);
-2 Brackets for fastening to the window for vertical
mounting assembly (Ref.E4);
-1 Package of hardware (Ref.F) consisting of: 4 screws
type AF d4.2 x 19 mm for fastening of the snaps fastener or
6 screws type AF d4.2 x 19 mm for fastening of the bottom-
hinged window bracket and 12 screws type AF TC d4.8x16
for fastening of the brackets to the window);
-2 Snaps fastener (Ref.F1)
-1 Set of instructions for installation and use (Ref.G1) and 1
drilling template (Ref. G2);
-1 Safety plate (Fig.6).
Make sure the parts described above are in the
package and check that the actuator has not
undergone any damage during shipment. If anything
is wrong, do not install the actuator and contact your
retailer or the manufacturer to request technical
service.
The parts included in the package as described above,
especially the brackets and clamps, are related to the
configuration selected in the order.

If the window is accessible or installed at a height of
less than 2.5m from the ground and if it can be controlled
by untrained users or by remote control, the system must
be equipped with an emergency stop that acts
automatically to prevent the risk of crushing or dragging
any parts of the body placed between the mobile and the
fixed part of the window.

Operations of routine and special maintenance calling
for even partial disassembly of the actuator must be
performed only after interrupting the power supply to the
