Mounting Hole Dimensions
Left Hand (LH) shown throughout instructions. Right
Hand (RH) opposite.
1a Determine the degree of door opening required and find
dimension "A" on the chart below.

1b Measure from hinge/pivot centerline, stick template on door.
L See Mounting Dimensions above as needed.

1c Remove template, and drill holes where marked with a 1/8" drill
bit.
L SRT screws are used on metal doors.
Wood screws are recommended on wood doors.
Reduce installation torque if using SRT screws in wood.
1d Measure and determine your door's width.
Using a 5/32" or 4mm hex wrench, adjust the
closer spring power. Use the table below to
determine number of turns required.
Turn counterclockwise for "-"; turn clockwise
for "+"
L These turns are recommended, but
may change due
to door weight
and environmental
conditions.
L Do not use power drill
to adjust spring force! It
may cause damage and
void the warranty.

Install closer onto frame and shoe onto door using screws provided.
1e Install main arm to
closer.
a. Place main arm
onto the bottom
closer shaft.
b. Install and tighten
main arm screw.

adjustment.
1f Route the rod into the
forearm.
1g Preload the forearm to
90°. While the arm is still
preloaded, install and
tighten the arm screw.
1h Adjust the closer, if
necessary. See page
5 for closer adjustment
instructions.
