5.1 Preparation/installation (fig. 12 and 18)
When installing the Jøtul C 150 FL grids can be fitted to fill
openings between the hearth and the cassette.
The grids are sold individually so that you may freely combine
grids in order to create the desired width or have different widths
on either side of the cassette.
1.
The complete top/base grids (x1) are grids supplied with
mounting brackets and screws as shown in fig. 12.
2.
2-4 ribs can be removed using an angle-grinder and used
as a bottom grid. The rest can be used as a top grid and can
be cut if necessary in order to fit under the hearth's hood.
3.
Side grids 65mm, complete (1 pcs)
Side grids 115mm, complete (1 pcs)
In addition to top/bottom grids these grids can be used to fill
gaps in the sides of the hearth. Both can be joined to a grid of
the same or different width to create a grid with the desired
overall width. The grid can be angled up to 45 backwards in
order to fit into different hearths more easily. It can also be
cut to the required height.
Figure 18 shows some of the possible grid combinations and the
corresponding resulting external dimensions. In the majority of
cases the grids can be fitted after the cassette has been correctly
positioned in the hearth.
