do not pull the power cord to lift the pump as this may cause damage. it is recommended to fit a lifting rope to the pump when the pump is
installed in deep water.

1. Remove the strainer cage
2. Remove the impeller cover by turning counterclockwise (ccw) to release the lock and gently pull away.
3. Carefully remove the impeller and ceramic shaft.
4. Wash out all of the components in clean water. Do not use detergents or other chemical cleaners.
5. Reassemble the pump in the reverse order.
clean the pump at least once a month. More frequent cleaning might be needed depending on the water condition.
storing / winteriZing the pUMp
1. Unplug and remove the pump from the pond.
2. Gently scrub off any dirt and debris with a soft nylon brush.
3. Remove and rinse the strainer cage.
4. Thoroughly clean the pump and cage as per instructions in this manual.
5. In addition, soak the impeller and impeller shaft in white vinegar for 24 hours, then rinse off with water. This procedure will remove calcium and other
mineral deposits. If these deposits are not removed they may cause the shaft to bind and break when the pump is started again.
6. Lubricate all seals with Laguna Silicone Lube (sold separately/PT595).
7. Store indoors. Do not store the pump in below freezing temperatures.

This Pump is warranted for defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase. This warranty is valid only under normal
operating conditions for which the Pump is intended. This warranty does not apply to any unit that has been subjected to misuse, negligence, tampering,
accidental damage or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any
unit that has been used for commercial purposes. This warranty is limited to the Pump unit only. The motor is factory sealed with an epoxy resin, tampering will
void warranty. The impeller housing should still be accessed for regular maintenance. The Impeller is not covered by the warranty. No liability is assumed with
respect to loss or damage to livestock or personal property irrespective of the cause thereof. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. This warranty
does not cover damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service or alterations to the product or any of its parts, which
have been performed by a repair person not authorized by Rolf C. Hagen Inc.
