Thank you for choosing a CASCO helmet. Bicycle helmets are a part of personal protective equip-
ment (PPE category 2: standard protection against mechanical risks). They help to prevent or at
least significantly reduce head injuries resulting from cycling accidents, skateboarding and inline
skating. Please take time for to read the following information and for adjusting your helmet. This is
for your safety and maximum comfort.

A. ADJUSTING THE HELMET
1. Choosing the proper size of the helmet
A helmet produced by CASCO can protect you only if it is correctly positioned. Please measure your head
circumference on the line above the eyebrows and of the ears and, afterwards, select the proper size of the
helmet. The proper size (in cm) is mentioned on the label inside the CASCO helmet. The helmet must be
safe and comfortable on the head. Through the size adjustment system, assure the optimal positioning, so
that the helmet shall be positioned in a comfortable and stable manner (image 1).
2. Helmet correct positioning
In all the situations, please wear the helmet directly on the head, so as it should protect your forehead
without affecting visibility. Furthermore, it is not allowed to wear the helmet in a rotated position towards
the back of the head (image 2).
3. Adjustment depending on the head size and of the wearing height
A proper form represents the requirement for assuring the best possible protection. Therefore, the helmet
is equipped with one of the following adjustment systems:
• CASCOfit - SYSTEM:
In the internal back area of the helmet, there are, on the right and left side, sliding adjustment systems,
for the configuration of the height of wear. If the helmet is positioned too low, and your ears reach the
inferior edge of the helmet, easily lift the net, remove the adjustment element outside the helmet (image
3a). If the helmet is positioned too high, easily bring down the adjustment element, move the adjust-
ment element in the internal direction of the helmet (image 3b). The slight lifting of the element when
performing the configuration, makes the pushing simpler. Please uniformly adjust the right and the left
side. If the adjustment element is removed from its slideway, or if you want to replace, place again the
adjustment element in the assemblance fitting at the internal side of the running slide and push it in the
adjustment system (image 3c).
• DISK - FIT - SYSTEM:
The adjustment of the setting ring depending on your head's size is carried out through the closure
rotating system situated at the level of the back of your head. The rotation to the left opens, respectively
loosens the fixation ring at the level of the head. The rotation to the right in the clockwise direction,
progressively tightens the fixation ring at the level of the head (image 3d).
• DISK - FIT - VARIO - SYSTEM:
The adjustment of the setting ring depending on your head's size, is carried out through the closure
rotating system situated at the level of the back of your head. The rotation to the left opens, respectively
loosens the fixation ring at the level of the head. The rotation to the right in the clockwise direction,
progressively tightens the fixation ring at the level of the head (image 3e). For a better adjusted form,
the Disk-Fit-Vario system can be adjusted additionally height-wise. This operation is carried out by using
a locking mechanism that can be moved upwards and downwards (image 3f). For the extension or
shortening of the fixation strap at the level of the head, it is necessary to adjust the position (image 3g).
4. Closing the belt for the chin
Your CASCO helmet has a belt adjustment system with a buckle (image 4a) or a CASCO Loc locking device
(image 4b). After the adjustment, the helmet can be opened and closed without any subsequent adjustment.
