Operating instructions for the bottle warmer

Please read these instructions carefully before use. Keep them in a safe place in
case you need them for future reference.
INSTRUCTIONS THAT MUST BE OBEYED
- Before using the appliance for the first time, check that it is compatible
with the voltage of your electricity system.
- Always put the bottle warmer on a flat, dry surface out of the reach of
children.
- Remember that there is no substitute for proper adult supervision.
- Bottles must be placed in the tank, with the ring slightly loosened.
- Baby food jars should be heated with their lids removed.
- Never turn the appliance on without having filled up the tank with requi-
red amount of water (use water that contains no additives).
- Let the appliance cool for 15 minutes between uses. Do not touch the insi-
de of the tank during, or just after, use.
- Do not forget to unplug the appliance after use.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- In the event of malfunction, do not disassemble the appliance, even to
change a damaged lead. It must be repaired by our staff with special
tools to ensure safety.
- This device can be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by
people with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities or without expe-
rience or knowledge of the device, if they are correctly supervised or if
instructions relating to the device's safe use are given to them and the
potential risks involved are understood. Children should not be allowed
to play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should
not be carried by unsupervised children.
- It is essential to supervise children to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
If the lead suffers any damage, it must be repaired by the manufacturer,
the after-sales services or a qualified person in order to ensure it is done
so safely.
Do not disassemble the appliance yourself.
Do not use the appliance outdoors. This appliance is designed to be used
at home or in an equivalent place, such as staff kitchens, offices, shops or
other working environments, farms, hotels or accommodation.
OPERATING METHOD

1/ Fill the bottle warmer's measuring cup (d) in
accordance with the instructions in the diagram on
page 3-4 and then pour the contents into the tank
(g).
2/ Never warm up a bottle directly in the bottom of

the aluminium tank. Always use the tray (a) or the
wide-necked bottle holder (c): see diagram on page
3-4.
To heat baby food jars (without the lid) use the tray
(a).
To warm bottles with standard necks (slightly loo-
sened ring), use the tray (a).
To warm wide-necked bottles (slightly loosened
ring), place the wide-necked bottle holder (c) feet-
first into the bottom of the tank (g) and then place
the bottle into the holder (c).
3/ If the bottle's diameter allows it, add the heating

accelerator ring (b) to the tank (g).
Tigex tip
In order to avoid spreading bacteria, prepare and
heat bottles and baby food jars just before meal
time. Never keep an unfinished bottle.
It is recommended to refrain from warming food for
long periods.

4/ Plug the appliance into the mains.
5/ Press the ON switch (e) to start the warming

cycle. The light will be activated (f ).
The ON switch (e) cannot be used to turn the
appliance off.
The appliance will turn off automatically once the
warming cycle is complete.
CAUTION: the steam that is released during heating
is very hot. Do not put your hand close to the
appliance while it is in use.
6/ Without delaying, carefully remove the bottle or

baby food jar and then unplug the appliance.
For a bottle: tighten the ring properly and shake to
ensure even distribution of contents. Pour a few
drops of the liquid on to your hand to test the tem-
perature.
For baby food jars: stir the contents and test the
temperature. Make sure that that appliance has
cooled before cleaning it or putting it away.
To facilitate stowing, hooks (i) have been fitted at
the back to wrap the cable (h).
Cleaning the bottle warmer:
Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to completely cool down before clea-
ning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the inside and outside of the tank (g). Never immerse the
tank (g) in water.
Do not use abrasive products.
The baby food jar tray (a), heating accelerator ring (b), wide-necked bottle holder
(c) and measuring cup (d) can be cleaned with a sponge using soap and water or
put into the top tray of a dishwasher.
Descaling the tank:
Depending on the quality of the water used, a limescale deposit may build up on
the bottom of the tank (g) over time.
Regularly descale your appliance by pouring a mixture consisting of 100ml of water
and 100ml of white vinegar into the tank (g). Leave for around 30 minutes before
emptying the tank (g) and wiping it with a damp cloth.
Do not use detergents.
