7. Locate the "L" Corner Brace (I), Top Corner
Extension (J) and set out face down on a
scratch-free surface.
Insert one Wood Dowel (CC) and Screw (A-1) into
the the holes at the rear of the Top Corner
Extension (J), make sure to tighten (A-1).
Push the "L" Brace snug to Top Corner Extension
(J). Use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten
(A-2). Set part aside.

8. Tighten Screw (A-1) into the holes in the back of
the mantel top and the bottom of the Base.
Insert the Wood Dowel (CC) into the holes at the
bottom of the Base. Attach the Completed
assembly from step 7 into place at the back of
Mantel. Using Phillips head screwdriver to tighten
(A-2).
