1. DESCRIPTION/FEATURES

The OptiMix is a computerized mixing system intended for dental office
amalgam mixing.

Many features are incorporated into the OptiMix as defined below:
a) Keypad entry programming for accurate setting of mixing speed and
time as shown in (Figure 1-1).
b) Computerized operating system with digital technology that adjusts
motor function automatically.
c) LCD display of programmed settings as shown in (Figure 1-2), and
displaying error information in six different languages as shown in
(Figures 1-3 and 1-4).
d) Pre-programmed settings for standard capsules as shown in (Figure
1-5).
e) Capsule holder designed for easy capsule loading and removal as
shown in (Figure 1-6).

When using electrical devices, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risks of fire, electric
shock, and/or injury to persons including:
