When connecting to a car battery, the red
battery clamp must always be connected to
the battery's positive (+) terminal fi rst.
The jump starter is only intended for use with
12 V DC circuits. It must not be used to give
jump starts to vehicles such as lorries, buses,
tractors, mopeds and scooters or boats and
the like.
The jump starter must not be used to charge
a car battery.
Do not use as a replacement for a car battery.
Only the intelligent starter cable provided is
to be connected to the jump starter. Make
sure that the plug is fully inserted, otherwise
it can become hot and melt!
The jump starter must only be used for 3
attempts to start the car. Allow a minimum
of 2 minutes between each attempt, as the
jump starter or starter cable may otherwise
overheat.
To avoid damaging the jump starter,
disconnect the jump starter from the car's
battery within 30 seconds of the car starting.
At least 3 LEDs on the jump starter's battery
indicator must be lit if you want to use it as a
starting aid.
The jump starter must not be used as a
starting aid while it is charging.
You must not dismantle the jump starter. The
jump starter does not contain any parts that
can be maintained or repaired by the user.
The jump starter may crack if you drop it or
if it is subjected to impacts, which may very
occasionally cause battery fl uid to leak out.
If you get battery fl uid from the jump starter
or the car battery on your skin, wash the
aff ected area immediately with soap and
water.
If you get battery fl uid in your eyes, rinse
them with running water for at least 10
minutes and seek medical assistance.
