As a circular bench saw
Lengthwise and cross cutting
Set the parallel guide (25) the required
distance from the saw blade. Start the saw.
Lay the item against the parallel guide,
and bring it towards the blade in a smooth
movement. Use the push stick (23) to avoid
getting your hands near the saw blade.
Mitre cutting
Place the mitre guide (26) in one of the
grooves on the workbench, and set it to
the required angle. Lay the item against the
mitre guide, and use the mitre guide to guide
the item towards the blade.
Setting the saw depth
Set the saw depth by adjusting the height
of the saw blade on the depth adjustment
handle (13).

Cutting out a slot
Remove the permanent blade guard. Set
the cleaver blade so it is approximately 2
mm below the height of the saw blade. The
distance between the cleaver blade and the
saw blade must be 3-8 mm. Set the parallel
guide and the mitre guide for the task, and
saw the slot. Keep your hands away from the
saw blade. Fit the permanent blade guard
before performing any other cutting.
Replacing the blade
Disconnect the saw from the mains.
Press in the spindle lock (15), so the saw
blade is secured.
