C
C) PUTTING ON THE CARRIER WITH
THE CHILD IN IT AND TAKING IT OFF
VIDEO
Carefully put on the carrier with the child in it, position
the chest and hip strap of the carrier system. Then you
remote release the support base and fold in the foot –
the support base must be folded in during carrying.
This practical function makes it easier to use the child
carrier by just one person and provides optimum stabi-
lity when putting it on and taking it off.
TAKING THE CARRIER OFF
Be very careful when taking off the carrier. Fold back the
support base while you are still wearing the carrier until
locks into place. Take the carrier off your shoulders. Make
sure that the child's legs and arms do not get injured when
you take off the carrier. Gently put the carrier on the fl oor
and then follow the steps for strapping in the child in re-
verse order (see B Adjusting seat height and strapping
the child in).
To stow away the child carrier (such as in the car boot) the
support base can be folded in manually. To do this, pull
the cord of the support base latch (5) and fold in the base.
