20) PROBLEM, CAUSE AND SOLUTION
PROBLEM
The valve does not regenerate automatically - make sure that the fixture is connected to power supply (fig. 9, A, B)
The valve regenerates at the wrong time
Brine is not sucked, the water softener
does not consume salt
The brine tank fills too much
If the excessive filling occurs during
the regeneration:
If the excessive filling occurs when the
machine is operating:
Water softener salt consumption is higher
or lower than expected
After regeneration, water is not softened
The water softener dispenses salty water

SOLUTION
and that the connector of the electronic card is inserted (fig. 6, C)
- check the settings (see chapter 11 "setting the timer")
- check the current time and the regeneration time settings
(see paragraphs 10.2 and 11.3).
- make sure that network pressure is at least 2 bar
- make sure the unloading pipe isn't blocked or flattened (fig. 4, A)
- clean the injector (fig. 8, B) (see chapter 16)
- make sure the valve ins't sucking air where there are the connections (fig. 7, A)
- make sure the unloading pipe isn't blocked or flattened (fig. 4, A)
- make sure the valve ins't sucking air where there are the connections (fig. 7, A)
- clean the injector (fig. 8, B) (see chapter 16)
- check that operating pressure is at least 2 bar
- make sure the selected model is correct and, if the filling time was
customized, make sure that the duration of step B7 falls between
the range values (see chapter 11.5)
- make sure there are no leaks between the upper part and the cylinder
(fig. 1, C and D)
- make sure water does not seep in the brine tank from the brine tank pipe (fig. 7, A)
- make sure the selected model is correct and, if the filling time was
customized, make sure that the duration of step B7 falls between the
range values (see chapter 11.5)
- check the power supply and the valve settings (see chapter 11)
- check the presence of salt in the brine tank (fig. 7)
- make sure the mixer screw is correctly tightened (fig. 3, M)
(see chapter 14).
- This problem may be caused by a lack of hydric pressure during
the regeneration, that prevented a correct rinse to be performed.
As a consequence, start the resins rinse program (see chapter 13.3)
