3) Programming

3.1) Dip-switch
Control units SRCR 180 A and SRCR 200 A have some program-
ming dip-switches.
Dip-switch No. 1: permits the user to enable or disable the stop
command of the motor: OFF = stop enabled, ON = stop disabled;
the sequence when the stop is enabled will be: ascent-stop or de-
scent-stop; when the stop is disabled, it will be ascent or descent.
3.2) Adjusting the triggering thresholds
Rotate the trimmers according to the values shown in Fig. 5 in order
to adjust the "sun" and "wind" triggering thresholds.
• Wind: the "wind" sensor measures the speed of the wind in real
time, and communicates this information to the control unit. When
the speed exceeds the threshold set using the trimmer, the "wind"
LED will switch on and the control unit will control an ascent ma-
noeuvre. After an ascent command caused by the wind, the control
unit will block any other command for 1 minute (the "wind" LED will
fl ash during this time) and blocks the command caused by the sun
for 10 minutes. If, during testing, the user wishes to remove the
block caused by the "wind" command, s/he simply has to switch
the power supply to the control unit off, or rotate the "wind" trimmer
to maximum for a brief moment.
• Sun: the "sun" sensor measures the intensity of solar radiation in real
time, and communicates this information to the control unit. When
the intensity of the light exceeds the threshold set using the trimmer,
the "sun" LED will switch on and after 2 minutes the con-trol unit
will command a descent manoeuvre. When the intensity of the light
drops to under the threshold, the "sun" LED will fl ash for 15 minutes,
after which the control unit will command an ascent manoeuvre.
3.3) Memorizing the transmitters
Each transmitter or radio sensor is recognised by the SRCR 180 A
and SRCR 200 A control units by means of an unequivocal "code", a
"memorisation" phase must therefore be performed in order to allow
the control units to recognise each single transmitter.
• All the memorisation sequences are timed, that is, they
must be completed within the programmed time limits.
When the memory contains no codes the fi rst radio control unit can be entered as follows:
Table "A1"
Memorizing the fi rst transmitter
1.
As soon as the control unit is powered, 2 long beeps will sound.
Within 5 seconds press and hold down key ■ of the trasmitter to be memorized
2.
(for approx. 3 seconds).
Release key ■ when you hear the fi rst of the 3 beeps confi rming memorisation.
3.
N.B. If transmitters have already been memorised in the control unit, 2 short beeps will be heard when it is switched on. This means that the
above procedure is not valid and another memorisation procedure must be used (Table "A2").
When one or more transmitters have already been memorised, others may be enabled as follows:
Table "A2"
Memorizing other transmitters
Press and hold down key ■ dof the new transmitter until you hear a beep
1.
(after about 5 seconds).
Press key ■ of a previously memorized transmitter slowly 3 times.
2.
Press key ■ on the new transmitter again, releasing it when you hear the fi rst of the 3 beeps.
3.
3.
3 long beeps will sound if memorisation has been successfully completed.
N.B. 6 beeps will sound when the memory is full (30 transmitters), telling you the transmitter cannot be memorised.

Dip-switch No. 2: enables the user to establish the direction for the
"rain" triggering. If the switch is OFF this activates a control which is
equivalent to the ▼ key of the transmitters, if it is ON this will activate
a command which is equivalent to the ▲ key of the transmitters.
Dip-switch No. 3: this is only incorporated in the SRCR 200 A con-
trol unit and enables the user to choose between the "synchronised"
operating mode (switch OFF) and the "independent" motor operating
mode (switch ON).
Any eventual commands sent via transmitter or by operating on the
ASCENT and DESCENT inputs have priority over the commands
caused by the "sun" sensor. For example, if an ascent command is
sent after a descent caused by the sun, the awning will remain closed
even when it is sunny.
Sun OFF, "sun" LED ON-OFF 4 s.
Do not leave the "wind" trimmer completely rotated (mo-
tors stop).

• For transmitters with multiple "groups", choose the group
the motor must be associated with before proceeding
with the memorisation phase.
• Programming via radio may be done on all the control
units within the range of the transmitter; therefore, only
the one involved in the operation should be kept switched
on.
