5. Initial use
Close the cover of the bean hopper. Put the bean hopper (with cover) on the
bean hopper holder. Keep in mind that the opening of the ground coffee con-
tainer shall be aligned with the coffee powder outlet. Plug the power cable into
the socket. The Start/Stop button will flash. Turn the grind control to select your
desired coffee strength. Turning it to the right, the coffee powder will be coarse,
while it will be finer when turning the grind control dial to the left. The dispensed
amount of coffee is depends on the grinding time (see table at the end of this
text). You can use the filling quantity control dial to set your desired amount of
coffee. Choose your desired grind rate and press the Start/Stop button. After a
while the coffee powder will come out of the opening of the ground coffee con-
tainer. While grinding, the Start/Stop button will flash continiuosly.
Hint: The maximum amount of ground coffee the container container holds is
150g. The ground coffee container shall not overflow.

6. Clean and Care
Be sure to unplug this device and let it cool down completely before cleaning. To
prevent from an electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or body in water or liq-
uid and do not fill the bean hopper with water for cleaning. After each use, always
first remove the plug from the power outlet. Clean the device and its accessories
with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild cleaning agent. Do not use aggressive cleaning
