Battery monitor
Possible cause
Shunt resistance is not connected properly.
Instrument 0 reading is not correct.
Nominal battery capacity and/or battery
quality factor have not been entered cor-
rectly.
Voltage is too low.
Voltage is too high.
Alarm values are set too high or too low.
Battery charge condition is too low.
Alarm values are set too high or too low.
Switch in the yellow wire is set to 'OFF'.
The yellow wire is not connected.

Solution
Reverse the connections to the shunt
resistance (black (4) and green (5) wires).
Instrument calibration is necessary, see
section 4.2.
Enter the values for the nominal battery
capacity and/or the battery quality factor
again, see section 4.3.
Charge the battery.
Check the dynamo voltage regulator
and/or the battery charger.
Set other values (if desired), see section
5.3.
Charge the battery.
Set other values (if desired), see section
5.3.
Set the switch to 'ON'.
Connect the yellow wire with a switch in it.
