Due to construction features of those motors, the position chosen for the WEG Motor Scan must be the upper
rear area of the motor (Figure 2.5 on page 9). The drilling and mounting position of the WEG Motor Scan
for ODP IP23 motors must follow the recommendations shown in Figure 2.6 on page 9. Where D and L are
the maximum acceptable deviations. If it is not possible to mount the sensor on the motor upper rear within the
recommended limits, then you mount it on the upper front within the specified limitations. If it is still not possible
to mount the sensor, then the L offset (on the upper rear) must be increased to mount the sensor within the
recommended D offset.
