Wrap Teflon
right around the 3/8" Push-In Fittings and
fasten to filter head. (See Figure 4).
Do not use pipe sealant (dope), as
solvents in some types of pipe dope may
cause damage to plastic fittings.

Insert water supply line to port marked
"IN" (See Figure 5, A) and insert faucet
line to port marked "OUT" (See Figure 5,
B) Insert plastic tubing into fittings,
and ensure end of tubing is firmly seated
to backstop.
Using Push-In Fittings
Push tubing in as far as it will go.
Tubing must be inserted past the o-ring
and hit the backstop. Pull tube to
ensure it is secured.

Fasten bracket to filter head with
four Phillips Head screws provided
If pre-drilling holes, use bracket as a
template for screw hole locations.
(See Figure 6).

Slowly turn on water supply while depressing red air release button on filter
head and check for leaks. Allow water to run five (5) minutes with an open
faucet to flush out air.

Push in grey collet to release tubing.
With collet held, pull tubing
straight out.

Place filter into housing. Align housing
to filter head and screw it onto filter
head. Hand tighten until snug and
tighten with wrench to seal. DO NOT
OVER-TIGHTEN. (See Figure 7).
