In order to prevent frost damage to the
water filter in winter, either drain the water
or fill the installation with anti-freeze.
To drain out the water, remove the hose
connections, the filter housing does not
have a drain tap.
When filling with anti-freeze, take care that
it does not spill into the waterway. Anti-
freeze is poisonous!
If the boat is laid up ashore at the end of
the season, the water can be simply
drained off by allowing the motor to run for
a short period with the sea cock(s) open.

Disconnect the battery cables.
Charging the batteries
Charge the batteries, as necessary, regu-
larly throughout the winter period!
