Daily maintenance
Introduction
The following guidelines apply to daily and periodic maintenance.
Carry out the maintenance at the time stated.

The time intervals stated are for normal operating conditions.
Under adverse conditions, carry out the maintenance more often.
Failing to carry out maintenance can lead to breakdowns and
permanent damage to the motor.
No claim can be made on the guarantee if maintenance has not
been carried out properly.
The electric motor does not require any maintenance.
When a hybrid installation is installed:
Follow the maintenance instructions for the diesel engine from
the corresponding manual.

Maintenance schedule
Every 10 hours or daily
Inspecting the coolant water filter
Every 25 hours or monthly
Batteries, cables and connections
Every 100 hours, at least once every year
Checking the V-belt
Checking the flexible motor supports
Checking hose connections
Checking nuts and bolts
Every 1000 hours, at least once every 2 years
Checking the outboard water pump
Stop the motor before carrying out any mainte-
nance work.
