"HS settings" menu

In the main menu, open the "HS settings" menu by confirming with "OK".

Direct call

If direct call is activated, a number is dialled when you lift the handset from
the base station.
For calls to begin only after you have manually dialled the number, select the
"Off" option.
 In the "HS settings" menu, choose the "Direct call" entry with "OK".
 Enter the four-digit system PIN (the factory setting is 0000) and confirm
with "OK".
 Select "Off" or "On" and confirm with "OK".
 Now enter the telephone number to be dialled.
 If you select "Off", you must manually dial the telephone number for
every outgoing call.

Select base

To increase the reception range of the handset, you can register it with up to
four base stations. This lets you set up a network of base stations in your
home.
 In the "HS settings" menu, choose the "Select base" entry with "OK".
 Select the required base and confirm with "OK".
