In view of their length, the power cord and connection hose could
constitute a strangulation hazard.
Ultrasonic nebulizers are not suitable to be used with highly viscous
medicaments (particles having diameter higher than 5 µm), so please
read carefully indications on medicament packaging. It's advisable to
dilute medicament with physiological. For a better use of your ultrasonic
nebulizer it's recommended to check these particular indications on
medicament packaging too and /or ask for additional information to your
physician and/or pharmacist.
USE
Clean and disinfect the nebuliser and all accessories before using it for the
first time or any time the device is used after a long period of storage (see
paragraph on cleaning and maintenance).
Always turn off the device and disconnect the plug from the mains
electricity before filling the tank and after each use.
Before using the device always check that all components are correctly
assembled, especially after cleaning them.
FILLING THE TANK WITH WATER
Place the device on a level, stable surface.
Remove the cover from the water tank (the nebuliser compartment will come
out as a unit), fill the tank with clean, preferably distilled, water, up to the level
indicator. Pay special attention never to exceed the level of water indicated in
the tank. But if the water does not reach the level indicated the device will not
work. Never fill the tank by pouring in water directly from the tap.
N.B.:
• using cold water will reduce nebulisation.
• for better nebulisation use warm water (exceeding 30°C).
• only water should be put into the tank, adding any other kind of liquid
may damage the transducer.
