TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
No AC output is available, but
generator is running.
Generator
runs good at no-load
but "bogs" down" when loads are
connected.
Generator
will not start; or starts
and runs rough.
Cause
I.
One of the circuit breakers is
open.
2.
Fault in generator.
3.
Poor connection
or defective
cord set.
4.
Connected
device is bad.
I.
Short circuit in a connected load.
2.
Generator is overloaded.
3.
Shorted generator circuit.
I.
10Amp in-linefuse is blown.

Discharged battery.
3.
Failed battery.
4.
Low oil level.
I.
Out of gasoline.
Generator
shuts down during
