How to Transport the Machine

Transporting the Machine With Limited
Cargo Area:
To transport the machine, follow this procedure:
1. Lower sanding drum with control lever. See
fi gure 1.
2. Slide collar beyond overlap of control link; remove pin from
notch. See fi gure 2.
3. Twist and remove handle pigtail from motor cord. See fi gure
3.
4. Release handle latches and remove handle from chassis.
See fi gure 2.
5. Remove dust pipe from chassis.
6. Lift chassis with transport handles and place in cargo area.
See fi gure 4.
WARNING: Machine is heavy (43.2kg). To
avoid injury or damage grasp
transport handles fi rmly; use
proper lifting technique.
7. Secure chassis to prevent movement in cargo area. Place
handle and dust pipe in cargo area.
