POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.

HOW TO OPERATE

BEFORE FIRST USE:

1. Before using the product for the first time, thoroughly wash the lid,
Bowl, and Blade Assembly in hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
2. Make sure it is unplugged from the outlet and place the Base on a flat,
level, stable surface.
3. Place the column in the center of the Bowl over the Shaft in the Base,
aligning the tabs in the bottom edges of the Bowl with the indentations
in the edges of the Base.
4. Turn the Bowl clockwise until the tabs on the Bowl slide under the tabs
on the Base, as shown.
5. While holding the Blade Assembly by the top, place it onto the column
in the Bowl and turn the Assembly until it rests about one half inch
above the bottom of the Bowl.
6. Place the Lid onto the Bowl, ensuring that the peg in the Lid is inserted
into the top of the Blade and the small arrow on the top of the Lid
points away from the top of the Base.
7. Turn the Lid until the arrow meets the arrow on the top of the Base
