ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS AND SAFETY
I
GENERAL NOTICES
The installer is responsible for choosing wires with charac-
teristics and nominal section that are suitable for the specific
current input of the spa (see pre-installation instructions).
The cable path, choice of materials and most suitable in-
stallation solutions are left to the professional knowledge and
experience of the installer; it is his responsibility to guarantee
and certify the installation.
Make the connection on the terminal board as shown in
NOTE: if power is provided with a double single-phase
line(220-240 V 2+N~) or with a tri-phase line with a neu-
tral wire (380-415 V 3+N~), before making the connec-
tion you must cut the indicated jumpers, located near
the power supply terminal block.
To ensure the degree of protection against water as required
by standards, a cable clamp has been installed to make con-
nection the electrical system easier.
The installer must in any case connect the phase wire(s) to
the correct terminal and the neutral wire to terminal N (in the or-
der indicated). He must also connect the earth wire to the ter-
minal identified by the symbol
components in the electrical box. When installation is complete,
the cable clamp must be closed and the cover of the electrical
box must also be hermetically closed.

LIMITATION OF ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION
If there is not enough electrical energy and you decide to ac-
tivate the consumption limiter, the system software must be
configured for proper operation of the spa:
Press and hold the "Light"
til the message"cFn" appears.
If necessary, use the "Up"
scroll the menu until you see "cFn". Press the "Light"
gain to confirm the option.
Now insert the password 123 as follows:
- use the "Up"
and/or "Down"
number.
- confirm the selection by pressing the "Light"
Perform the same steps to insert the other two numbers.
Once you have inserted the password, the display will show
the message I1x (parameter for temperature unit of measure.

Use the "Up"

The display will show the message I3 0. Press the "Light"
key again to exit the procedure and memorize the new values.
Make sure you do not modify parameter I3 0. The display will
go off for a moment, and then it will come on again.
- If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the proce-
dure and any changes made will not be saved.
NOTES
- When I2 is 0, electrical consumption of the spa is limited to 16A.
In these conditions you can simultaneously activate a hydro-
i

massage pump and the blower. When you activate the other
pump, the one in operation is shut off but the blower stays on.
If the heater is active, turning on any load (pumps and/or blow-
er) will de-activate the heater.
When parameter I2 is 1, maximum electrical consumption
is selected. In these conditions it is possible to activate both
the hydromassage pumps and the blower.
If the heater is active, it is possible to have only two loads ac-
tive (pumps, or a pump and a blower). Turning on a third load
will shut off the heater.
- It is not advisable to activate the consumption limiter if the s-
pa is installed where temperatures often drop below 0 °C because
this limits the anti-freeze protection (see related chapter).

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Jacuzzi
®
spas are safe products, manufactured in compliance with
standards CEI 60335.2.60, EN 61000, EN 55014 and tested dur-
ing production to ensure their safety.
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized
personnel, in compliance with current national provisions.
It is the responsibility of the installer to select mate-
rials based on their intended use, to carry out work
properly, to check the condition of the system that the
unit will be connected to and that it ensures safety of
use also concerning maintenance work and the pos-
sibility to examine the system.
The Jacuzzi
they must be permanently connected, without any interme-
diate connections, to the electrical system and to the pro-
tection system (earth system).
The electrical system of the building must be provid-
ed with a 0.03A differential switch and with an effi-
cient protection (earth) circuit. Check for proper op-
eration of the differential switch by pressing the TEST
button, which should trip.
For electrical connections, the installation of one or more
omnipolar section switches (depending on the type of installa-
tion) is compulsory
vided with the product).
