6. Maintenance and servicing

Important: The pallet truck must be serviced by authorised personnel only.
To guarantee safe operation, regular visual inspections and function checks must be carried out by a technical
specialist.
The scope of inspection covers fissures, deformities, cracks, damage, wear, corrosion damage and functioning
faults of the pallet truck.
If there are visible deformities and evident damage, the device must no longer be used
As proof that the tests have been carried out, a test list is to be compiled by the operator.
In the event of damage and particular incidents that could influence the carrying capacity, and after repairs, a
special testing is to be carried out by a technical specialist.
Chain
If the following damage is detected on the chain, the truck must no longer be used:
a) Stretched by more than 3%
b) Cracks, breaks, deformation
Hydraulic fluid
The fluid level must be checked at intervals of 6 months. When refilling, use a hydraulic liquid in compliance with
ISO VG 46.
As proof that the tests have been carried out, a test list is to be compiled by the operator.
Moving parts
